The International Relations Council of Riverside helped Coordinate the following:
200 Years of Amistad
On Friday, December 16, 2022, the United States and Mexico celebrated 200 years of Amistad (Friendship).
Within 200 years of friendship, the City of Riverside & Riverside IRC specifically celebrated our Sister City Relationship with Ensenada – 54 Years of Sister-City Relationship!
In attendance was Presidente Municipal de Ensenada, Armando Ayala Robles. We were honored to greet him and his fellow staff to support his team’s international endeavors further. Other diplomats and leaders who attended were the offices of congressman Mark Takano, el Consulado General de Mexico (San Bernadino), assembly member Luis Medina, and Riverside City Council members.
It was with great pleasure to help assist and provide a successful luncheon for such a significant international audience.
