Eyad Alfattal

Dr. Eyad Alfattal is the director of the Center for International Students & Programs at Riverside City College. While the Inland Empire is his home, he is a global citizen who lived and worked in different countries worldwide. Dr. Alfattal earned his bachelor’s degree from Damascus University, Syria; his master’s degree from the University of Leicester, the United Kingdom; and his doctoral degree from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). Dr. Alfattal is the 2017 CSUSB Outstanding Doctoral Student, and he is the 2018 Waynne B. James Award winner for his contribution to research in the field of global issues. Dr. Alfattal has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at colleges and universities in England, Syria, Turkey, and the United States, and his published research focuses on globalization, internationalization, and marketing, as well as international students’ needs and college choices.
