Karin Roberts Bio
Karin Roberts was born and raised in Austria and moved in 1992 to the United States. She worked as a German teacher at Berlitz Language School in Orange, CA., where she met her husband David. Karin’s love of traveling and exploring other cultures was a good fit for the IRC. In 2009, she realized Riverside had no sister cities in Europe. She approached Mayor Ron Loveridge, and consequently, he asked her to find a sister city in Germany. 2011, the relationship with Erlangen, Bavaria, was established, and this connection is still flourishing.
